You will avoid being unhappy and increase your competency if you understand the Psychology of working with the Patient, Doctor and other Specialties
Step2
Accept that the Nurse is the Link from the patient to all other providers
Step3
Get to work 15 minutes earlier, read the notes of all specialties since you left or as far back as you can be familiar with the Patient's condition.
Step4
Check your patient before the shift who gave you report leaves ; make walking round with the outgoing Nurse
Step5
Check lab results and other result pertaining to Patients diagnosis e.g Blood sugar, drainage amount, EKg, Monitor strips and act immediately for any abnormals
Step6
Visit with friends and family on your days off, eat right, exercise, do something relaxing, join a social group.

Tips & Warnings

* Double check medications as taught in school, follow the 5Rs, right patient, right medication, right time, right route, right dose
* Always use the resources you have to avoid the Doctor getting angry with you, discuss with a more experience nurse to guide you about what the Doctor may ask you, e.g, lab values/results, medication list, vital signs.
* Always carry a notebook with you when on duty, to make notes when chart is not available
* Never take it personal or cry when a Doctor yells at you.
* Never give a medication or injection prepared by another Nurse
* Never sign for a medication given by another Nurse.
* Write only what happens on your shift, not what anyone told you happened

The reason I enjoy reading magazines online is that I can pick and choose what articles I want to read. I also don’t have to deal with those bazillion subscription cards that seem to fall out of the magazine as I try to read it.

I have so many crochet magazines, nurses magazines,anime or cartoon magazines etch that I love, but it is hard for me to to use them because I don’t have indexes.I don’t have time to go looking through them all to find them. It would be much easier if they were online and would take a lot less room in my house plus avoid paper mites and the yellowing/damage of pages.

I finally found out why

So I’ve been sitting here thinking about why I go to movies alone, hate just the idea about being around people and hate women in general. It’s called a life experience, and I’ve had many of these.

As for my way of relationships. Lets just say, I have been single and alone for 3 years now. I can’t help to think I’m going to end up that rich lonely bachelor, who never gets married and never has kids. It’s a fear that I deal with every day. Another problem I have is the lack of emotion I have for many things, I never cry, I hardly smile, I don’t frown, I just have this cold, dead look in my face. This look is hardly broken with a smile, and wish it would.

I just want to be happy, but it seems that day is either way down the road, or non-exsitent.

Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they were meant to be there… to serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesion or help you figure out who you are or who you want to become. You never know who these people may be but you lock eyes with them, you know that every moment that they will affect your life in some profound way.

And sometimes things happen to you at the time that may seem horrible, painful and unfair, but in reflection you realize that without overcoming those obstacles you would never realize your potential, strength, will power or heart.

Everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens by chance or by means of luck, illness, love, lost moments of true greatness and sheer stupidity all occur to test limits of your soul.

Without these small test, life would be a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to nowhere safe and comfortable but dull and utterly pointless.

The people you meet affect your life. The successes and downfalls that you experience can create who you are, and the bad experiences can be learned from. In fact they are probably the most poignant and important ones. If someone hurts you, betrays you or breaks your heart, forgive them because they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious to whom you open your heart.

If someone loves you, love them back unconditionally, not only because they love you, but also because they are teaching you to love and open your eyes to the little things. Make everyday count. Appreciate everything that you possibly can, for you may never experience it again.

Pacquaio VS. Hatton Fight

Round One
Hatton starts well for the first 30 seconds, stays outside, moving well (and keeping to the game plan) as Pacquiao appears to start slowly. Then Pacquiao launches an assault catching Hatton flush with a straight left hand. Then a right hook. Then he launches an all-out assault, twice sending Hatton to the canvas. The final minute of the round is torrid for the Mancunian, a rapid right hook as Pacquiao moved to his left catching Hatton on the chin sending him to the canvas. Hatton takes the count from referee Kenny Bayliss on one knee, rises, but is soon in trouble again, as a straight left floors him in front of his corner.

Round Two
Hatton looks composed, remarkably, at the start of the second stanza, beginning it with some success, knocking Pacquiao back, but is then warned by Bayliss not to hold and hit. Hatton lands with a left hook, and looks to be getting back into the contest but as the round ends Pacquiao enacts a punch of clinical brutality, felling Hatton flat onto his back, crumpling under a left hook which leaves him glazed and motionless. Hatton looked out before he landed on his back on the ground.

"I did not count," said Bayliss. "I called the fight over because Ricky was glazed in his eyes and was showing no motion to get back up." Promoter Bob Arum says immediately at ringside that Pacquiao can "go on to become the greatest pound for pound fighter of all time". Hatton is on the canvas motionless for three minutes, and walks out of the arena. He is immediately taken to hospital "on precautionary grounds".

"There's only one Ricky Hatton," goes the British fighter's anthem.

But there needed to be two, three or four Ricky Hattons in the ring on Saturday night to cope with the phenomenal Filipino Manny Pacquiao.

Pacman, as he is known back home in the Philippines, gobbled up the Hitman with an awesome array of punches at dazzling speed, and a final fearsome left hook.
Hatton crashed to the canvas with a second to go in the second round, never looking likely to beat the count.

'Shocked and gutted'

The Mancunian hero was later taken to hospital for a precautionary check-up.
It was a stunning ending to the fight and shocked the 20,000 or so Hatton fans who had ignored the economic hard times to travel to Las Vegas to see their hero.
Rob Melbourne, from London, was in the arena with his girlfriend Katie Audsley and he said: "We're shocked and gutted. I can't believe it happened."

But he added: "Total respect to Manny Pacquiao, he totally outclassed him."
Katie said: "I'm still pleased we came all the way out here because the atmosphere was amazing."

Neither of them wanted to see Hatton forced into retirement after such a performance and Katie said: "He has to go out with a win. He mustn't go out like that."
Tim Marshall, an expat who lives in Tokyo, said he felt Hatton looked tense beforehand while Pacquiao looked "super-relaxed".

'Just too quick'

He said: "After he was knocked down twice in the first round it was just a question of when and not if he lost."

For him there is a silver lining. "My wife Lori is Filipino. She's stayed at home with the kids but she will be very happy.

"Pacquiao has done the Philippines proud. The whole place comes to a standstill when he's fighting and the fight was shown live on TV there with thousands in the street."
As for Hatton, Tim thinks he needs to think long and hard about whether he should continue in the fight game after such a devastating defeat.

Bal Johal and his friends Surjit Rai and Gee Punia, all from London, were in despair.

Bal said: "We came over for the Malignaggi fight but this time we are so disappointed. There was 100% effort on Ricky's part but Pacquiao was just too quick."
Would it ruin their weekend, I asked.

"No. This is the party capital of the world. We knew Ricky was the underdog and we are still determined to enjoy the weekend," said Bal.

While thousands of British fans went off to drown their sorrows in the bars and fleshpots of Sin City, their Filipino counterparts prepared to party into the night.
Joseph Palmes had travelled all the way from South Cotabato - the same province where Pacquiao hails from - just for the fight and he was overjoyed.

"Nobody beats Pacman. He is the strongest and the fastest," he beamed.

So who next for the mighty Pacman?

Floyd Mayweather, the only man to have previously beaten Hatton, looms large on the horizon after he announced earlier in the day he was coming out of retirement to fight Juan Manuel Marquez in July.

At the press conference after the fight, promoter Bob Arum said: "If Mayweather wants to pick on a little Filipino, just be my guest."

Pacquiao-Mayweather would be another monster fight and there is little doubting who most of Ricky Hatton's fans will be rooting for.

In victory Pacquiao was as charismatic and humble as Mayweather was arrogant and insensitive.

It was two rounds of brutal action and a two round blowout for Filipino sensation Manny “The Pacman” Pacquiao as he walked through, around, and all over Ricky “The Hitman” Hatton (45-2 with 32 KOs). It was a crowning achievement for Pacquiao who became the first man to beat Hatton, until tonight the linear 140 lb champion, at that weight. The cherry on top? He did it easier and much quicker than Floyd Mayweather, Jr who has now returned to the game and is hoping to take on tonight’s winner. After seeing this performance, he may think twice about that.

Nothing is like a big fight in Vegas between tow seemingly evenly matched fighters and tonight was no different as the star rolled out in droves and the room was filled to the brim with Brits and Pinoys all cheering their man on and shaking the MGM Grand Garden Arena from the floor to the rafters.

Hatton came out to the ring first, looking serious and focused. The crowd went wild as he made his way to the ring. As he waited for the action to begin, Hatton began hitting his head with his own gloves and jumping up and down. Those seemed to be the only shots he landed tonight.

Pacquiao came out relaxed and smiling, taking in the crowd. Hatton’s fans went wild for their guy but Pacquiao’s fans took the volume to a whole other level. The roof about came off and my ears were ringing as Michael Buffer made his pre-fight introductions. As he got to his trademark line “the crowd joined him to say “LET’S GET READY TO RUUUUUUMBLLLLLLEEE!!!!!”

Both men looked ready and in shape, stretching, bouncing, and getting ready for that first bell. When it rang, both men came to center and the action was on. Hatton got his jab going but followed it with two clinches within the first 30 seconds.

Pacquiao stayed patient, timing Hatton and looking to land his shot. And he did with a right hook that caught Hatton flush and making him clinch again. Hatton worked in the clinch to the body and head. After the break, Hatton dug to the body but Pacquiao came right back with a jab, jab, left hand . A lead left caught Hatton and seemed to hurt Hatton who clinched again. Pacquiao came back with a right hook after that and began to open up as Hatton backed off. A searing right hook caught Hatton moments later and dropped him hard to the canvas. Hurt but full of heart, Hatton rose and Pacquiao went back to work. The crowd was deafening as Pacquiao landed shot after shot, looking to end things early. Pacquiao was landing it all as a one two from Pacquiao broke Hatton’s guard and dropped him again.

It was pure mayhem in the arena as even press row jumped to their feet at what they were seeing. Hatton rose slower this time and was clearly very hurt but still game as they traded to the bell.

In the second, Pacquiao came out aggressive but boxing patient and smart, gauging his foe and poking and prodding to see if a finish was there for the taking. Hatton attempted to bore in close the gap but Pacquiao’s educated feet and sharp jab kept him at bay. Time and again, Pacquiao would catch Hatton coming in wide open and it seemed a matter of time before the end. It would come quickly as Pacquiao seemingly opened up every punch in the arsenal. Left leads, quick right hooks off a step left move that he worked on in the gym. Hatton got in a right hand but the offense was all Pacquiao as he landed jab, left, jab, left and then again followed by a right hook that shook Hatton to his toes. Pacquiao landed two lead lefts as he got Hatton in the corner but the Manchester fighter circled out to center ring and the end of the fight as Pacquiao, stepping to his left dropped a bone chilling left hook that dropped Hatton on his back. He seemingly was out before he hit the ground. Referee Kenny Bayless stepped in, looked Hatton over and waved it off at 2:59 of the second. Easily knockout of the year and one of the most brutal and beautiful KO’s in memory period.

Afterward, a humble Pacquiao would say, “I mean, I am surprised that it was that easy, but the fighter fights hard. He is strong and has a lead hand. Our strategy was one punch: the left hook. Right hook. That was going to be key to this fight. In the first round, I expected my right hook was going to be dangerous for him. He was coming wide open and his hands were down.”

As for the future of the pound for pound king, “I can fight anybody. M promoters will handle that. I am just doing my job and training.”

Pacquiao’s trainer, Freddie Roach said “Everytime [Hatton] throws that hook and cocks it, he is wide open for a right hook from the southpaw stance. We worked on that in the gym every day and it worked beautifully. The winner of Marquez/Mayweather is a possibility. I think it would be great.”

Ricky Hatton's pound-for-pound dream has been wrecked inside two shocking rounds.

Manny Pacquiao put the Hitman down twice in the first before ending a one-sided contest with a chilling left hook one second from the end of the second.

It was such a bad knockout that Hatton was out before he hit the canvas and he needed treatment before finally 0 thankfully - getting to his feet.

Whether he climbs back into a boxing ring again, is doubtful.

Hatton did no interviews, had to be helped from the ring and was surely headed for hospital. And possible retirement.

When his head clears he will realise that the performance was a complete and utter disaster. He came to Vegas dreaming of being crowned the best boxer on the planet. He will leave after an absolute nightmare.

At least it was a short one. Freddie Roach's initial three-round prediction was not far off the mark in the end. Pacquiao's trainer also said it was too late for the Hitman to change his style - and that was just as accurate.

Ferocious

In six ferocious minutes of action, there was no sign of any boxing skills, no head movement, no cunning whatsover as he tried to close the gap and take Pacquiao on on the inside.

Instead it was the Hatton of old. Walking straight forward, square on and, as he did even on that fateful night when he forced Kostya Tszyu to quit, taking way too many shots.

Reports of a rift with trainer Floyd Mayweather Snr on the eve of the biggest fight of his life can't have helped. If there had been problems - and in five minutes 59 seconds Hatton did little to dispel the rumours - they were cruelly exposed by the Filipino phenomenon, who now stands alone at the top of boxing's tree.

Hatton's plan to chop him down had been based on getting in close and in the very first clinch of the fight, he did get two sneaky shots in on the inside. But Pac Man hadn't even begun to fight.

A few seconds later and he was in the swing, catching his man with a right and even when he was pinned on the ropes, he slipped out untroubled.

Knowing his speed would keep him clear of any one-dimensional danger, he was then able to stand his ground in the face of thoughtless attacks and let his own fists fly.

Stunned

A left-right-left combination soon had Hatton cowering, then a huge right hook, signalled the beginning of the end.

Down Hatton went, stunned, but got back to his feet at eight. It was no flash knockdown, no lucky counter, no fluke. It was speed, timing, power; everything a boxer craves, everthing Hatton had promised - and it was to be repeated.

The next time he stuttered forward, a straight left repeated the punishment and had the Hitman on his back again with 55 seconds of the first round still remaining.

Juan Manuel Marquez might have survived three first-round knockdowns against Pacquiao five years ago, but even though Hatton got up again and held on for the ball, this was so patently different. Pacquiao had, as promised brought plenty power up to 140lbs to match his pace.

Hatton did at least catch his man at the start of the second, but still he was hunting in straight lines, not using, never mind moving his head. Soon enough another left landed and sent his head rocking back, while Pac Man let loose three or four-punch combinations and stepped out of range as Hatton lunged forward.

It was all too familiar and although he managed to mess Pac Man up for the next chunk, Bayless warned him for a low blow and roughing on the inside as desperation took over far sooner than anyone had dared fear.

Horrendously

How he made it to within a whisker of the end of the session perhaps only Pacquiao can answer, but just as the seconds were getting ready, the Hatton dream was ruined. Absolutely, unequivocally and, as fiancee Jennifer's piercing ringside scream will testify, horrendously.

This time he didn't even walk onto the shot. Almost casually, Pac Man prodded out half a jab before unleashing a lightning fast left hook flush to the chin. Hatton toppled to his left, smacked the canvas hard and did not even need a count.

He did need extensive treatment and he will now need a serious assessment of just where to go next.

Pacquiao, in contrast, can look forward to the winner of Floyd Mayweather Jnr and Marquez later this year.

On this chlling evidence, he can do so with supreme confidence. Boxing has a new pound-for-pound king. And sadly, he was a class above the same old Ricky Hatton.

As the new swine flu spreads, people have lots of questions about how it affects their day-to-day life. Here are some answers.

Q: How easy is it to catch this virus?

A: It's spreading as easily as regular winter flu, which infects millions each year. Early estimates are that 25 percent to 30 percent of family members are getting sick once a relative brings it home.

Q: How dangerous is it?

A: Nobody knows yet. Genetically, it doesn't share the same traits that made the infamous 1918 pandemic so deadly, nor does it seem as virulent as the bird flu that scientists have tracked for several years. While Mexico reported many deaths, the virus is causing less severe illness in the U.S. In fact, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says most cases so far haven't needed medical attention.

Q: Could I have some immunity?

A: Since it's a never-before-seen mix of mostly pig but also human and bird viruses, the CDC has cautioned that's unlikely. But it is a member of the H1N1 family of flu viruses, which circulate widely. Flu specialist John Treanor at the University of Rochester says people born before 1957 spent their childhood repeatedly exposed to H1 viruses. So experts are withholding final judgment on that question.

Q: Is it treatable?

A: Yes, with the standard anti-flu drugs Tamiflu and Relenza. They lessen symptoms if taken within 48 hours of the first symptoms.

Q: Is there a vaccine?

A: No. The government is working to develop one and the earliest shots could roll out would be in the fall, if authorities decide the virus remains enough of a threat to offer those shots. Manufacturers are preparing regular flu shots for the fall, when routine influenza strains will start circulating regardless of swine flu.

Q: Why does CDC stress hand-washing?

A: Flu viruses do spread through the air, so cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue or by sneezing into your elbow rather than your hand. But flu also can spread by touching your mouth or nose with unwashed hands. The viruses can live on surfaces such as doorknobs or handrails for a few hours, or be passed by a handshake.

Q: Do hand gels work better?

The following comments have recently been heard from healthcare facilities and staffing agencies:

“We have put our nurse recruitment program and all immigration filings for nurses on hold until retrogression lifts.”

“We can’t do anything to get the nurses into the United States until retrogression lifts.”

“We just don’t want to spend money recruiting nurses and filing their immigration cases until retrogression lifts and we can see some results.”

With the current unavailability of the EB-3 immigrant visa quota for nurses through September 30, 2008 and with an expected quota cutoff date of 2006 to be re-established at the start of the next fiscal year on October 1st, these comments are certainly understandable. However, these comments are the result of certain misconceptions and are counterproductive.

Retrogression affects only the ability of the nurse to complete the second step of the immigration process, i.e., the interview at the US embassy or consulate and arrival into the US.

Recruiting of nurses should continue and the first step of filing the Schedule A I-140 immigrant visa petition can and should be done as soon as the nurse has been recruited and a job offer has been accepted. This first step in the immigration legal process is NOT affected by retrogression.

By doing so as soon as possible, a place in the immigrant visa quota waiting line is established (priority date). This will place the employer and the nurse ahead of the competition and give them a running start for when retrogression finally lifts.

We remain confident that retrogression will eventually lift. Our confidence is based on several reasons. First, a healthcare system can not operate effectively without an appropriate number of nurses. Historically, the government has periodically addressed the shortage of nurses in the past, most recently with the recapture of 50,000 immigrant visas in 2005. Finally, as we have commented for the past several months, there is pending legislation that addresses the nurse shortage and the unreasonably long immigrant visa waiting times.

The consequences of not continuing to file Schedule A immigrant visa cases during retrogression are counterproductive and not in the best interest of the employer or the nurse. When retrogression lifts, the employer and the nurse will be further behind the competition.

Huge backlogs of already approved immigrant visa petitions have been forming during retrogression as most employers continue to recruit foreign nurses and file the first step in the immigration legal process. Even after retrogression lifts, it will take a substantial period of time for the government to clear the backlog that is increasing daily. In addition, by waiting to recruit and file, the employer opens itself up to the risks of more restrictive laws being enacted, government fees increasing and processing times increasing.

There are some temporary solutions that can be pursued and implemented while waiting for retrogression to lift, as we have discussed in previous articles. Canadian and Mexican citizen nurses can obtain TNs under NAFTA in order to enter and work in the US sooner. Other occupations eligible for TN classification are: Physicians, Pharmacists, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Medical Lab Techs. A proposed regulation, if enacted, will increase the initial entry and extension periods from 1 to 3 years for TNs.

H-1B visas may be available in certain very limited circumstances where the employer is exempt from the H-1B quota, i.e., advanced practice nurses, positions involving very complex job duties and teaching and managerial nurses. Finally, E-3 visas may be available to Australian citizen nurses under the same criteria as H-1B visas but without the current quota problem.

In summary, it is strongly advised that health care facilities and staffing agencies continue to recruit nurses and file Schedule A immigrant visa petitions during retrogression in order to best position themselves and the nurses they hire for when retrogression lifts. In addition, consider taking advantage of the temporary solutions suggested above.

How to Swim when You Are on Your Period

It's a perfect beach day, and you discover that you start your period today. No problem! It's a big myth that women can't venture out in the water on days like this. But if you just don't want to, here's some ways to still have fun onshore.

Steps

1. 'Dive in! Women have been in and around the water since there have been women. There's no actual reason--physical or otherwise--that menstruation bars you from the water. Female lifeguards, aquatic biologists, Olympic swimmers and divers, and so on all venture into the water during their menses. You can too.

2. Choose a good location. You might be uneasy going into a pool during your period. Although the fear is that you'll somehow leak or show, you can choose a larger body of water, like a lake or ocean where it's much less likely anything would be noticed.

3. Wear a tampon. You can swim (and do nearly every everyday activity) while wearing a tampon. However, never use for more than 8 hours, as this increases the chance of Toxic Shock Syndrome. Remember to use a less absorbent tampon if you are less experienced.

4. Try using a menstrual cup. This feminine hygiene product may be unfamiliar to many women, but is an option many prefer. It HOLDS the flow rather than absorbing it, so that you can be as active as you like.

5. Just wade.Wear a nice pair of shorts or a pair of skorts and simply wade in as much as you can. You can still be around your friends and you don't need to make any detailed explanations - just say that you think the water's too cold or that you're not feeling up to swimming that day.

6. Just Say:"I don't want to swim right now because I'm on my period". If everyone present is female, they'll probably understand. If you're in mixed company, the boys will probably be too embarrassed to give you a hard time about it. (Although you're also promoting the myth that a menstruating woman can't go in the water or horrible but ill-defined things will happen.)

Tips

* The tricky part about this whole thing is that the removal can be messy. You can do this by going into the shower or bringing a plastic zip lock bag (and a paper bag to conceal the contents) with you. Now you can still have your day at the beach

* If possible, wear red or black swim bottoms, or find a pair of shorts you don't mind getting wet ("Oops, careless me, forgot my swim bottoms!"). If you do happen to leak it won't show as much.

* Other ways you can participate without actually going into the water include sitting on the side of the pool or end of the pier and tossing in balls/rings etc that the other swimmers have to catch; being a "race" official on the edge/shore; preparing the food (but get the others to clean up after!); holding the hands of any small kids who might come along and helping them to enjoy their day at the beach. Don't stay at home just because of a period; there's still a lot of fun to be had.

* Remember: After swimming while wearing a tampon, even if less than 8 hours, change it! The tampon could have absorbed chemicals such as chlorine from the water, which could have adverse effects on your health.

Warnings

* Be sure to go over tampon usage with a knowledgeable female and your doctor. Using tampons is not difficult, but it's a skill and requires knowledge and practice. Not all girls are suited for wearing tampons. Whether or not tampons are right for you is a highly personal decision. Therefore, it is recommended that the tampon is tried for a minimum of 3 days to ensure comfort and practicality. For some people, even the thought of using a tampon is off-putting - don't worry, there is no pressure to try.
* Avoid ocean beaches that have a history of heavy shark traffic. While it's extremely rare that you would ever be harmed by a shark, and there's no statistical evidence that menstrating females are any more likely to be harmed than anyone else...pick your swimming location carefully.

It's something not very often talked about and applies to all areas of everyone's lives, from the moment you set foot in a store, to dating the cute stranger you met last weekend. Backwards rationalization to put it simply is whereupon you come to a logical conclusion in your brain based on your emotional state, essentially rationalizing emotional choices with logical reasoning.

If you've ever been in sales you've probably heard of backwards rationalization before, its an often used sales tactic to get a customer emotionally committed to buying an item even if logically they do not need it. This way when someone emotionally wants something you'll often see them rationalizing with them self, thinking up reasons why they do need the item, and ignoring the reasons they don't. On the other hand, if someone doesn't emotionally like something even if they really need it they'll often talk themselves out of buying it. Which is precisely why sales people exist in the world, not to help people make rational choices (as they can do that on their own by simply browsing) but to emotionally sway them so they logically convince themselves they need something.

This habit of backwards rationalization is also in full force in relationships. It's been seen and evidenced hundreds of times that the reason why one person likes or stays with another has little to nothing to do with logic, even though it often appears as though it is. Its funny experiment that you take a girl and get her to date 2 different guys. One guy is naturally good with women and the other guy is a bit of a creep. Now they go into a restaurant to get something to eat and 2 key events occur, the guys both open the door for the girl and pull her chair out for her to be able to sit down, and they both tease and make jokes of the girl at the dinner table. Now what's amazing is often after this date the girl will feel more attracted to the natural guy and repelled by the creepy weird guy. As such the girl backwards rationalizes this with logic, with the guy she's attracted too she thinks of how sweet he is opening the door and pulling out her chair for her and completely ignores the teasing at the dinner table, however with the creepy guy she does the complete opposite, ignoring the door opening and remembering the teasing, claiming that is the reason why she dislikes this guy.

Of course this also applies to guys, and its a really peculiar facet of human intelligence. It is also the key to understanding relationships, and that what you logically do in a relationship has little to no bearing on the outcome, for if the other person emotionally adores you they are only going to think of the good and forget the bad, and vice versa.

So how does this help you out in life? We'll once you become consciously aware of why you are doing certain things you can begin to resist people trying to emotionally manipulate you and realize that many decisions you are making are actually due to your emotional state rather than logic. In the short term most people generally do things based on their current emotional state and although this brings short term pleasure it can and will often harm you in the long run.

This isn't to say don't trust your emotions however, there are many times where you may chose to go with your intuition, say you get a bad feeling about someone, they rub you the wrong way or just feel like they are hiding something. Often this is your subconcious's way of telling you it picks up on something they are hiding and feeding it back to you through your emotions and it should be duly noted. This is of prime importance in the business world where it has been witnessed many times of sneaky business men attempting to lure someone into a contract or spending money raising a business based around flawed business models (such as pyramid schemes) by giving them plenty of emotional pleasure with vivid images of huge mansions, luxury yachts and trips around the world, then letting the target know how terrible and painful it would be to work their current job instead of jumping aboard this new bandwagon, often times confusing the target and getting them to sign up to deals based on their emotional state rather than logical decision making.

Don't go away feeling increased pressure to suppress your emotions today, for they will help you out many times in your life in certain situations. The key is to not simply run on emotions and realize that it's best to think about a problem logically, then use your emotions (how do you feel about it) and make a decision based on both ways of thinking, which will (provided your not using a balanced amount of emotional and logical thinking) provide you with the correct answer at least 95% of the time.

Oh i'm sorry didn't mean to scare you.hmm oh nobodys here .naruto looking confuse.he looked he said i saw someone here but where can she go.i didn't see her face.naruto saw a pretty girl on the water daceing around.but he fall and when he looked she was gone.but he didn't know that it was hinata.one of his friends.he was on a message with them because there was nothing to do.her master let him go with them.they were cool with it.
On a sunday hinata did'nt go to sleep she want to train but on the warter thats when naruto saw her nude.he look at her and his blue eyes just look and look whan he fall she life and run nude to the camp.she got there she put on some pants and a shirt. whan naruto got there he was wet and wake up the theam he saw hinata she was wet as well and she was red blushing because he saw her on! the water nude.he got closer to her and look with his blue eyes.she got back and he hin ata why are you wet and red he ask do you have a cold or something. Hmmm n-no hinata said and ask why are you wet ohh i saw a pretty gril and she was dceing on the water like gaar with his sand.hinata trun more rad and naruto look at her and got close to her like he was gonna kiss her.then the dog wake-up and jump on hinata and naruto got more back.then everdody wake-up.what the the dog got off of hinata and naruto told them the story about the gril and said she also look like hinata.they all look at her.she turn red really red.then they all talked about the gril and the only person that said it was hinata was nrauto.he really belived it because of her hiar and how wet she was.she know he knew that was her.she wanting to tell him but could not. when the sun got up they all got up.
Naruto on hinata face like he was gonna kiss her.hinata turn red again and moved to the other side with kabe.! hhh what hinata said kabe ohhh i-its nothing,ok he look at her than at naruto.then got in fort of hinata and told naruto to stay beak.hinata run and the dog follow her into the woods.naruto and kube run afer her but counld not see where she want.kube called the dog but could not hear him.then kuba samlled where hinata run to and follow the samlled so did naruto.kuba did not want naruto to come because he wanting to cack on hinata fist and he liked her to.but naruto want to because they where friends and he wanting to ask her something and also he does not want to see her hunt or anything.they want on to look for hinata and whan they find her she was with the dog and asleep.kuba got the dog and naruto got hinata.
She turned around and wake-up and saw naruto then see closed her eyes and want back to sleep.whan they got there she got up and naruto again was at her face like he wants to kiss her.kuba got naruto and thor him to the other side.''what the ,why you did that for'' naruto said 'for no reson kuba said now do not get so close to hinat! a or' 'Or you do whant naruto said'just do not get close to her. i can do whant i want and i don't have to tell you anything. hmmm hmm i-it's o-ok for me if naruto wants to be this c-close to m- me hinata said,but why do you want to be c-close to me naruto she truned red and naruto said because you look like the girl i saw so well you were also wet naruto truned red as well.

I’ve heard about all the beautiful resorts here or near Davao … I came along CRASH LANDING RESORT!

April 12, 2009 (Easter Sunday),. Me and my barkada had the chance to visit one of best resort here in Davao.,Actually it was not our plan to go here because my friends wants to go to the beach. But since then, its an Easter Sunday,we expect that going to beaches is gonna be crowded. So,I am the one who decide where we can celebrate our barkada reunion and the Easter Sunday.

The Crash Landing Resort is located in Darong, Sta. Cruz, which is not too far away from the confines of Davao City. It takes about 40 minutes or so to reach the place from city proper, depending on traffic conditions.

Crash Landing Resort boasts of a very clean, beautiful atmosphere and consists of a pool, a fishpond, several beautiful cottages, play-things for little kids, among other things. Of all the Davao-based resorts I’ve visited, I can say that Crash Landing is arguably the cleanest, and most well maintained of them all. Not bad for a small, relatively little-known resort.Actually its my second time to go here..

I really had a great time visiting the unique beauty of Crash Landing resort in sitio landing. Sitio Landing was actually the landing field of japanese during world war II. and crash landing resort was named after this historical event. But the question is why not Japanese landing resort? the DTI wont approve it according to the owner. this is because we already have Japanese tunnel resort here in Davao city.. it might confuse other tourists kasi magkatunog ang pangalan nila.hheheheheh...

Anyway, the resort will open their beach to the public soon… it’s also in sitio landing.. i’m looking forward to it.

Today is Black Saturday the announcer would say as the screen showed a black and white drawing of (if memory serves) a hillside with a boulder blocking a cave, and a cross in the background. I was nine at the time, and this announcement always gave me the shivers. It would probably give me the shivers now, actually.

The designation of the day before Easter Sunday as "Black Saturday" appears to be a tradition within Filipino Catholicism, and various folk practices accompany it. In the morning, children leap into the air as church bells ring in hopes of growing tall. The Spanish custom of not bathing on Good Friday is widely observed, so many bathe in rivers and in the ocean on Black Saturday. During the night, dummies of Judas stuffed with firecrackers are exploded in church plazas, a tradition reminiscent of Guy Fawkes'Day in the U.K. Children are woken before midnight Mass and fed meat dishes (meat being forbidden on Good Friday) lest they become deaf.

I think about these things on this day. They were followers of Jesus, y'see, and I'm a follower of Jesus too. Tonight, two thousand years ago, my master, my friend, my teacher and savior is dead in a cave, cold, his corpse growing stiff. Easter morning is only a few hours away, but tonight it seems like it will never come.

But the great joke is that it does. There's a surprise in store for all of us, an amazing plan that has already gone off just the way it was meant to. We still think all's been lost but the truth is that what we believed to be total defeat was really victory.

God has a weird sense of humor sometimes. You gotta love him for it.

Today is Good Friday. I will never forget a comic that I saw, quite a few years ago. It was "BC" - the comic strip with cavemen. And, sometimes they define words, giving them unusual or wacky definitions. This time, they defined "Good Friday" as "the only Friday worthy of being called good". I will never forget that. Today, I am thinking about death. Not only the death of Jesus. The death of my grandfather, who we lost to cancer over many years ago.I had been praying for my patients in the (ICU),. I am thinking about death. In my prayer time this morning, I could not help but recall those brutal scenes from "The Passion of the Christ" where there was so much Blood. So much pain. So much confusion. So much death. And so much love. On our retreats, in small groups, occasionally I ask the question of teens, "When have you felt closest to God?" But, I also like to ask, "When have you felt furthest from God?" Overwhelmingly, the answer for both questions usually has to do with death. Countless times I have heard things like – "When my grandfather, I wondered why God took him" "When my grandma died, because I knew he was in heaven". When someone died, because of how our family all came together" Sometimes, for some people, the experience of when they felt closest to God is the same as when they felt furthest away. And, often, it is in death. Jesus modeled it, and I thank Him for His honesty. On the Cross, he cried out, "My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?" I have felt that pain and confusion in the face of death. I feel it today. And yet, he also cried out, "Father, into your hands, I commend my spirit." I have also known that trust, and utter dependence on God. I know it today. It was called, "It's Friday, Sunday's Coming!' The talk described the death and pain we all experience in our lives. Not only physical death, but emotional death and even spiritual death. But, after each statement of death and pain, he said, "It's Friday, but Sunday's Coming!" I believe it. And, Jesus modeled it. Today is Friday. He is hanging on the Cross, after being mocked and scourged. He dies. But Sunday is coming! I believe it. And, I trust in Jesus. I remember how Jesus said, "It is finished". At that moment, I knew that my prayers for healing were answered in an eternal way.

There were three Filipino friends who were invited to a Mood Party. In order to be allowed access into the party, each person had to make an appearance as a mood or feeling.

The first guy went to the supermarket and bought a pear. The second, bought a dress and the last bought a custard pie.

Confused with each other, they decided to go to the party and let the host clear things up between them.

The host of the party opens the door and asks the first Filipino guy, "What's the pear for?" The Filipino guy sticks out his thumb and plops the pear right over his thumb. Baffled, the host asks what this all means. The Filipino guy answers, "I'm in 'dis pear (despair)!" The host smiles and let's him in.

The second one busts out his dress. When asked to explain, he takes off all of his clothes, throws them to the corner and wears the dress. He then explains, "I'm in 'dis dress (distress)!" The host then smiles again and let's him in as well.

By this point, the host thinks he has everybody down. All of the sudden, the third guy pulls his pants down to his knees and proceeds to give it to the custard pie that he brought. Bewildered beyond belief, the host asks what the heck this guy is doing on his porch making love to a custard pie!

The Italian toast "cin cin" sounds like the sound of glasses touching.

Surigao-truly an island paradise

Surigao City is the capital of the province of Surigao del Norte, the entry point to northern Mindanao. It is a crowded, busy and developing city, with close beaches on the city’s “island barangays” worth a beach enthusiast’s stay or visit. Though overlooked, these island barangays are worth not just a day’s visit but a couple of days stay to experience Suriganon’s hospitality at its best...!

I stayed here in Surigao for almost an hour waiting (Ferry Boat)in Maharlika Pier going to Tacloban City., But after a long waiting, we are informed that the Boat will be arrived later. So we stayed again for another hour.Since it gets so bored, me and my friends decided to go the Island fronting the Maharlika Pier.

(Basol Island)

As i observed,there is a group of islands within easy day-tour reach of Surigao City. One can start off with Basol Island close to the Maharlika National Road, just a brief boat ride from the Maharlika Pier.

You can also visit the Hikdop Island, 45 minutes away by a public pumpboat that leaves every morning. The island has good beaches and from here one can connect to Nonoc Island and start on a trek on the longest wooden bridge in the Philippines. This extraordinary 391-meter footbridge called the Cantiasay-San Pedro Foot Bridge, connects with Sibale Island. Conceived to ease movements and communications between two barangays, the bridge has transformed itself into a resting and promenade area, giving one the exhilarating experience and thrill of crossing two islands on foot.

I really had a great time seeing this group of island in Surigao. Once you’ve been touched by Siargao’s brand of magic, it is not hard to imagine how such a distant island has managed to capture your heart. With all these experiences, how can you leave the islands of Surigao? I’ll definitely come back to this Island of adventure!

APRIL VISA BULLETIN SHOWS RETROGRESSION FOR EMPLOYMENT CASES

Really bad news for people in the EB-3 category. Priority dates in the April 2009 Visa Bulletin show backwards movement of two years. But there is some positive movement in the family numbers. Here is the DOS explanation:

Despite the established cut-off date having been held for the past five months in an effort to keep demand within the average monthly usage targets, the amount of demand being received from Citizenship and Immigration Services (CIS) Offices for adjustment of status cases remains extremely high. Therefore, it has been necessary to retrogress the April cut-off dates in an attempt to hold demand within the FY-2009 annual limit. Since over 60 percent of the Worldwide and Philippines Employment Third preference CIS demand received this year has been for applicants with priority dates prior to January 1, 2004, the cut-off date has been retrogressed to 01MAR03 to help ensure that the amount of future demand is significantly reduced. As indicated in the last sentence of Item A, paragraph 1, of this bulletin, this cut-off date will be applied immediately. It should also be noted that further retrogression or “unavailability” at any time cannot be ruled out.

It has also been necessary to retrogress the Employment Third Preference Other Worker cut-off date for all countries in order to hold the issuance level within the annual limit.

Here is the summary of the changes:

Family 1st - Advancement of worldwide, China and India numbers by three weeks to 15 AUG 2002. Mexico remains stalled (again) at 8 OCT 1992. The Philippines advances two weeks to 1 AUG 1993.

Family 2A - Worldwide, India, China and the Philippines numbers advance six weeks to 15 AUG 2004. Mexico jumps ten weeks to 1 JAN 2002.

Family 2B - Worldwide, India and China numbers advance nine weeks to 1 SEP 2000. Mexico is still stuck at 1 MAY 1992. The Philippines advances six weeks to 15 JAN 1998.

Family 3rd - Worldwide, India and China advanced two weeks to 22 AUG 2000. Mexico moves one week to 22 OCT 1992. And there was a one week advance for the Philippines to 15 JUN 1991.

Retaining the property's action and adventure elements, producers Amritraj and Patrick Aiello wanted to add emotional depth and characterizations to the games' rich world, colorful characters, and web of loyalties and betrayals. To that end, they hired then-newcomer Justin Marks to pen the screenplay, and noted filmmaker Andrzej Bartkowiak to direct.

Now one of the industry's hottest screenwriters, Marks is a longtime videogame enthusiast and a self-described member of the "Street Fighter" generation. He makes special note of the franchise's storied history: "I think the game will always be popular because it is the first 'social' videogame, bringing people into the arcades," Marks explains. "Up until the release of 'Street Fighter,' people played games in their homes, on personal computers, or via text-based games like Atari."

Bartkowiak, formerly an acclaimed cinematographer ("The Verdict," "Terms of Endearment"), is a specialist in helming action films and high-octane thrillers, like "Romeo Must Die" and "Cradle 2 the Grave." Working in a big-action-film template, Bartkowiak infuses STREET FIGHTER: THE LEGEND OF CHUN-LI with a gritty realism, albeit with a twist. "I wanted the movie to look anything but plain," he elaborates. "I was looking for a look that was a little exaggerated at times - a kind of heightened reality with saturated colors. Edgy and a little extended."

The look necessitated that the film's explosive martial arts battles be mostly practical, with CG used in a few instances to enhance the fights, and for environmental extensions. Renowned action choreographer Dion Lam ("The Matrix" trilogy, "Spider-Man 2") worked closely with Bartkowiak to create signature set pieces designed to please "Street Fighter" fans, as well as action-movie audiences new to the franchise.

While Bartkowiak oversaw the main unit that shot the film's dramatic sequences, Lam presided over a team of martial arts and stunt experts that put the cast through their fighting paces. The two units, while producing very different kinds of scenes, worked together seamlessly. "It was important that the characters be consistent from the dramatic scenes to the action scenes," says Bartkowiak. "So, Dion and I developed an individual fighting style for each character. We worked out the fights very carefully before the action unit began work." Producer Ashok Amritraj likens the two units in action to a "choreographed dance," adding that "Andrzej was the 'yin' to Dion's 'yang.'"

One of Lam's star pupils was Kristin Kreuk, who portrays Chun-Li. Kreuk, best known for her role as Lana Lang on the hit television series "Smallville," reported to the set weeks before the start of principal photography, to embark upon a rigorous regimen of martial arts training. Lam devised impressive moves and fights that challenged her each day. "It was a lot of wire work, dives, front kicks, side kicks and fan kicks outward and inward," says Kreuk. "Because it was impossible for me to look like the videogame incarnation of Chun-Li, I wanted to build Chun-Li's strength from the inside. I mean, if she's going up against the likes of Bison and Balrog, she's not going to out-muscle them. She has to have internal strength and fortitude."

While Kreuk was a relative newcomer to the world of "street fighting," her on-screen "master," Robin Shou, as Gen, is an action film veteran and longtime martial arts practitioner. STREET FIGHTER: THE LEGEND OF CHUN-LI is not Shou's first go-around with a videogame adaptation; he brought to life "Mortal Kombat's" Liu Kang in the 1995 box-office hit.

Michael Clarke Duncan was another apt pupil of Lam's. For a fight scene between Duncan's Balrog and famed Singapore-based actor Edmund Chen, as Chun-Li's father, Xiang, Duncan eschewed the use of a stuntman. Duncan was perhaps uniquely qualified to embody Balrog's size, physical prowess, voice and attitude. It might even seem like Duncan was destined to take on the role, having frequently played and enjoyed the "Street Fighter" game. "But the only character I used [in the game] was Balrog," says the actor. "He was always my favorite - and he looked a little like me!"

Neal McDonough enjoyed the physical preparation for his role as Bison - "Dion choreographed some fantastic moves for me," he says - as part of his process in making the character come alive. McDonough strove to make Bison realistic and powerful, but always fun to watch. "Bison is an entertaining villain who enjoys what he is, and what he has. And that is very entertaining to play as an actor."

"But what really makes Bison a great villain is the way he unravels," adds McDonough, providing a clue to the character's arc.

Chris Klein, as Interpol agent Charlie Nash, wasn't required to learn high-flying martial arts moves, but he did undergo training with guns, which became an integral part of his rehearsal period. "Charlie is known [from the game] for shooting it up when the going gets tough, with his Walther P99," explains Klein. "You're never sure what he's going to do next, and that was a lot of fun to play." Many fans of the franchise see Nash as its unsung hero, one who is inextricably tied to its mythology. "Charlie is out there, on the razor's edge, far from where he came," says Justin Marks.

To bring down Bison and his vast syndicate, Nash joins forces with Bangkok homicide detective Maya Sunee. Maya is an American - a foreigner working with the Thai, for reasons that remain mysterious. What isn't a mystery is the strong chemistry that marks her partnership with Nash - and Moon Bloodgood's delight in taking on the role. She particularly enjoyed her special weapons training with an M-16 automatic and a Beretta. "I was actually getting paid to go to Thailand and practice with police officers," she marvels. "I was in heaven." Bloodgood also visited Bangkok prisons and spent time with an undercover detective.

The filmmakers' decision to shoot STREET FIGHTER: THE LEGEND OF CHUN-LI in Bangkok was, among other things, a nod to the videogames, which were also set in the Thai capital. More importantly, Bangkok was a perfect fit for the film's story, characters and action. "Bangkok is unlike any other city in the world," notes Marks. "In some ways, it's a modern-day version of the Wild West, so it's a great place for Bison to set up shop. And it's where his story lives - it's a homecoming for him, and very personal."

As director Bartkowiak wrapped post-production on STREET FIGHTER: THE LEGEND OF CHUN-LI, he took time to reflect on his hopes for the film. "I want audiences to enjoy the film as a ride, because it's designed to be that kind of movie. It's definitely for fans of the franchise, but I also wanted it be more than a typical videogame-to-film adaptation. The characters and emotions will bring in new fans who don't know the game."

For one filmmaker/gamer- screenwriter Marks - the film is nothing less than "a dream come true." He adds: "As someone who grew up on the franchise, I am proud of it not just as a writer, but as a fan."

This is my road trip from Tacloban City, Leyte to Samar. I was amazed when we passed the San Juanico Bridge. This is one of my great experience for me as my adventures because we traveled for almost 5 hours and half of way with rough road. My reason of journey is not only to see this bridge but to watch the celebration of Sangyaw Festival @ Tacloban city.

GUNS for Children-Bang! Bang!

I just happened to be reading an article about the tragic shooting death of a pregnant woman by her fiance's 11-year-old son. The story in itself is horrible enough, but I was stunned when I read further into the article and found this:"She didn't actually eye witness the shooting. She saw him with what she believed to be a shotgun and heard a loud bang," Bongivengo said, adding that the weapon, a youth model 20-gauge shotgun, was found in what police believed was the boy's bedroom.

The shotgun, which apparently belonged to Brown, is designed for children and such weapons do not have to be registered, Bongivengo said.

You can call me clueless but I see no reason why kids should even have guns. In my dealings with them I don't believe that most kids are mature enough for gun ownership. What is your opinion on this? I realize that in an earlier time in our history circumstances could arise wherein a child might be called upon to use a gun, but those days are long gone.

For some people, it's out of fun. I think they have enjoyment - not necessarily of destroying someone else's computer - but it's a talent that they have, and it's a challenge to find new ways to get into things. And it probably makes them happy. As sick as that sounds, I think it's enjoying for them to be able to mess around with someone else's data. A disgusting hobby, I know. These people need to find some other way to put their talents to good use. but it's probably really interesting to them to find new ways to change codes or play with C++... and it's something THEY can do, that not everyone else can.*shrugs*

Those who actually destroy data, though, or try to get into your personal info, need help. It's either out of hatred or frustration, or they're trying to gain something they DON'T have - money, maybe? Valuable information? Who knows.

Cebu Pacific Air is offering yet another round of seat sale. P500 all in for domestic flights while P500++ for international flights. An additional P200 is to be added if you are flying with checked in baggage. Promo period is from Oct. 22 to Oct. 27. Travel period is January 5, 2009 to March 18, 2009.

I've checked their Hong Kong flights for January and the total charge amounts to around P7,000 /pax only. Wow! I just wished their other Asian routes are not on the midnight sked. I've tried their Shanghai route and the return trip was kind of stressful since it left the airport at midnight. Everything was closed at the airport and there's nothing to do. On the plane, I was seated behind a guy who was listening to his Ipod set at full blast. And what's worse, he was listening to rock music!!! Didn't sleep at all during that flight.
